Prayer
Submitted by The UhlersPrayer is one of the best
free gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot
of rewards. Let's continue praying for one
another. May
today there be peace within. May you trust God
that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities
that are born of faith. May you use those gifts
that you have received, and pass on the love that
has been given to you. May you be content knowing
you are a child of God. Let His presence settle
into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom
to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun. It is
there for each and every one of you.

Dear Blabby
Dear Blabby;
I have prayed for someone to be a special friend yet I am
still lonely. I have asked God for a companion but I'm
still single. Why isn't God answering my prayers?
Alone in Atlanta
Dear Alone;
Well, dearie, it could be God wants you to do something
about making friends... as for marriage, not everyone is
called to be married, or single... let your prayers about
that be for your will to yield to His. Fight loneliness
by reaching out to other lonely folks. I will pray for
you, too.

Dear Blabby;
My parents hate the boy I like, no, love. Just because he
is 6 years older than me. I am a very mature 13-year old.
What can I do to make them like him?
A Young Woman In Love
Dear Young;
I addressed you as "Young" because you are!
Your parents probably don't "hate" the apple of
your eye as much as they love and hope to protect you.
The object of your affection is a legal adult and should
have more sense than courting a girl your age. But if
your feelings for him are genuine, you will wisely back
off and wait until you are more right for him.

Dear Blabby;
I am recently widowed and must go to work to support
myself and two children There is an opening at my church
for a secretary, but I am nervous about applying because
I'm afraid they will just hire me out of pity and regret
the choice after they discover I am rusty on my office
skills.
Timid in Tacoma
Dear Timid;
So you've got rust on your office skills, eh? Don't worry
about it... a few drops of elbow grease will smooth them
out in no time. And so what if they hire you out of love
or pity or even if they hire you because they like your
hair style. Who cares? They're getting a bargain!
Sweetie, just the fact you are concerned tells me you'll
be the very best kind of employee. If I could hire anyone
for anything, it would be someone like you!

three wise women... This
is cute, but there is still a message I found as I
laughed....
We, as women, can do all the right things and be so
helpful (what man sees). But we must remember that God
looks at our hearts and hears everything we say.... Let's
be careful not to cancel our good works out with bad
intentions and sarcastic remarks.....
