This is a special issue: January, 2006 Back again after 5 years!

Welcome Note From Iona:

Thanks for visiting the very first issue of Handmaidens since God took my life in several different directions, including a Traumatic brain Injury. Handmaidens 4 Christ continued to be online but was not maintained and many links were no longer active. The new design for the site was never completed and remains to be fully developed All in due time.

My first priority was to get existing pages cleaned up and links all working or deleted. I also needed to update our Groups form. I finished those tasks last night (January 2, 2006) and hope to have at least some pages up tonight! God willing, there will be an issue every month from now on!

Except for this opening page, the format and content type are much the same as the original with the webzine divided into topical sections containing one or more pieces.

Help Wanted:

Writers: We are seeking staff writers for many of our sections. I am writing most of them now but know the Lord would want our readers to be blessed by the writings of other as well. To apply for staff writer positions, please look through our departments and check our Guidelines, then e-mail me with samples of your work.

Site Reviewers: We also need folks to surf the net and suggest sites for us to feature and award. Again, e-mail me if you want to help.
