Online Museums - A Cyber Tour

Can't get away for a trip to the Louvre? Don't have time to fully experience the Smithsonian?

Well, thanks to the wonders of technology, you can soak up all the culture you want with online museum tours. I've even gathered a list of links to the best on the net, or so I think.

But before you go clicking off to these hallowed halls of the culturally enabled, let me also suggest that you try the search engines to locate cyber museums related to a special hobby or interest you might have.

There are on-line museums for almost everything, even comic books and movie memorabilia. There are doll museums, collections of ancient artifacts, gemstones, almost anything imaginable.

The almost inconceivable amount of work and time spent making these collections available over the internet is mind-boggling. So, why not make museum hopping a regular pastime. You'll learn a great deal and your eyes will feast on beauties you may never have dreamed of.

Although I must admit I haven't strolled all the cyber halls and seen every exhibit, the sampling I list here was most impressive. Sure hope you enjoy them!
