Obsolete Computer Museum
Sorry, this one is gone. Ever wonder about the old computer in your auntie's dining room? Learn all about this and other ancients of the computer world.

Virtual Library Museum page has a list of museums in the United States with links to their various websites. The links are organized by name, by state, and by type. Note that we can't possibly endorse tertiary links. We merely state this is a good resource. You will need to decide which museums are appropriate for your visit.

Louvre Museum
What would eventually become one of the world's most prestigious museums, the Louvre Museum opened in Paris November 8, 1793. Until the French Revolution, the King's art collection had been strictly for the private pleasure of the Court, but revolutionary leaders decided to open the collection to the public. Among some of its most famous art pieces are the Joconde (Mona Lisa), Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Liberty Leading the People.

In Your Eyes
By Donna Hughes

Love will always be there in Your eyes!
I must look to You for the answers of life,
I'll walk on water, climb mountains high,
For You are the Master of my days and nights.

Without You I'd sink beneath waves of sin,
A boat, lost without a course or plan,
Looking to You I find faith, and I know
Love will always be there in Your eyes...

You rescue me from shifting sands of time
With Your eternal promise of life and love,
No longer do I need to cling to this world
For You've promised that heaven awaits me.

Oh, I will trust and believe in Your Word
Knowing its power to heal, to mend hearts,
No other name in all of time can I whisper
To find peace, hope, love and joy.

Yes, I've only to look and I shall find...
Love will always be there in Your eyes!.

HE IS

When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!

I WAS HURTING TODAY
By Flora Monroe
2/90

On the outside I was smiling,
On the inside I was grieving,
My friends did not know that my smile was deceiving.

Although they asked, "How are you today dear?"
I answered "OK" and held back a tear.

So with a smile and a hug,
They went their own way,
Not ever knowing that I wasn't "OK".

Father, forgive me,
For I've made your heart sad.
For you sent them my way,
To make my heart glad.

Please help me Lord, to receive from them love.
To accept with sincerity,
The warmth of their hug.

Help me Lord to see that they care,
To be open and honest, my burdens to share.
To believe in my heart,
That you sent them my way,
For Father you care,
That I was hurting today.

COME HAVE SOME TEA . .
Written by: Ema Bermu‘dez Resendez
Caldwell, Idaho
5/99

Come along now let us sit down together
As the water boils up we'll talk about the weather.
When the water's right and the Tea bag's are afloat
the Biscuits are buttered and the Jam's in it's Compote

We'll then sip our Tea and talk about just how good the Lord has been
towards our families and our neighbors and those next of kin.

We'll remind each other well that we must not forget to pray
for the widow and downhearted for the fatherless. Amen.

Now, our prayers have been answered and our cares we've
left to Him-- we part company remembering someone prayed. Amen.

Come along, come have some tea so we can share again. . . .

A Poem of God's Grace...
From Mr. Mom
Submitted by Sarah

I did not know His love before,
the way I know it now.
I could not see my need for Him,
my pride would not allow.
I had it all, without a care,
the "Self-sufficient" lie.
My path was smooth, my sea was still,
not a cloud was in my sky.

I thought I knew His love for me,
I thought I'd seen His grace,
I thought I did not need to grow,
I thought I'd found my place.
But then the way grew rough and dark,
the storm clouds quickly rolled;
The waves began to rock my ship,
I found I had no hold.

The ship that I had built myself
was made of foolish pride.
It fell apart and left me bare,
with nowhere else to hide
I had no strength or faith to face
the trials that lay ahead,
And so I simply spoke His name
and bowed my weary head.

His loving arms enveloped me,
and then He helped me stand.
He said, "You still must face this storm,
but I will hold your hand."
So through the dark and lonely night
He guided me through pain.
I could not see the light of day
or when I'd smile again.

Yet through the pain and endless tears,
my faith began to grow.
I could not see it at the time,
but my light began to glow.
I saw God's love in brand new light,
His grace and mercy, too.
For only when all self was gone could
Jesus' love shine through.

It was not easy in the storm,
I sometimes wondered why.
At times I thought, "I can't go on."
I'd hurt, and doubt, and cry.
But Jesus never left my side
He guided me each day.
Through pain and strife,
through fire and flood,
He helped me all the way.

And now I see as ne'er before
how great His love can be
How in my weakness He is strong,
how Jesus cares for me!
He worked it all out for my good,
although the way was rough.
He only sent what I could bear,
and then He said, "Enough!"

He raised His hand and said, "Be still!"
He made the storm clouds cease.
He opened up the gates of joy
and flooded me with peace.
I saw His face now clearer still,
I felt His presence strong,
I found anew His faithfulness,
He never did me wrong.

And now I know more storms will come,
but only for my good,
For pain and tears have helped me grow
as nothing ever could.
I still have so much more to learn
as Jesus works in me;
If in the storm I'll love Him more,
that's where I want to be!
