Just A Thought
By Staff Writer Sharon Barrett

Ephesians 5:15 "Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."

How we live, do you live according to God standards? Or do we do what we want to all the time, not caring who has to pay the price? It gives Satan great joy to see us doing our thing, with out thought to another person, or to God. Just A thought maybe, but we should take a closer look at our lives and see who we bring honor too.

Where Are We Going?
By Susan C. Cunningham

Author's Note: About 3 years ago I started a manuscript entitled "Catching the Light of Heaven". With many things going on in my life, changes occurring as will happen to all of us, I put this work on the shelf. Recently God urged me to take another look at what had been written several years back. I would like to share this piece with all of you. See if this doesn't look familiar!!! Our Heavenly Father is speaking to us and this tangible reminder gave me goose bumps!!! Kinda looks like what's going on in our country right now!

Country Living

To believe that God exists is a step taken by a trusting heart hearing the call of truth.

Playing with destiny is not to be taken lightly, nor is destiny to be placed within the hands of man. How foolish we become in the process of trying to control what was created and given to us by a power much wiser and and far more intelligent than the egotistical human mind.

When history repeats itself could it be that God is so loving and concerned about our welfare that He wants us to see how urgent this historic message is? A first look into the Word of God is really the last Word of the final chapter. There has been no change in God as Christ, only the metamorphosis of man's thinking. How many stories and books will be needed to reveal what was set in stone and then in the blood of the One who died to receive us in love, a love that today..sadly, is given to self. What is so "bad" about being good? What is so "weird" about wanting to believe? How are miracles explained? At what hand will a human or a country come back from the dead? What really, is the meaning of sacrifice?

The modern world still belongs to Christ. The wonderful love of heaven has come in the form of the Holy Spirit to assure the earth of salvation and truth. There are no conditions coming with unconditional love (we put conditions upon ourselves), yet the Lord of hosts has a hope that the world will want to love Him as He loves us. How can God bring truth in the form of His beloved Son Jesus Christ if we insist on praying to myths, lies and degradation? How long will we lavish our love and adoration upon fame, fortune and self-will..icons, false gods or the god essence. Almost everyone prays to "something" or "someone." Are false gods hearing prayers or are they bringing appeasing answers by powers once bestowed upon them by their loving and gracious Creator? And...what will we "sacrifice" for power and glory?

Lord Jesus died for the souls of all. He would have gladly died for the soul of just one who truly trusted in Him...think of it...just one. How far would we go in righteousness, how far would we go in love, for friendship, for morals, values and integrity. How "deep" are the truths now twisted to cause God pain? We are drawn into captive, mesmerizing thoughts and imaginations of carefree country living..things far away from Christ. How did we get to this place and what prize and leader is worth the cost of a darkening downward spiral?

When history repeats itself, could it be that God is so loving and merciful that He is giving us time to see how urgent this historic message is!! Seek the truth!!

"And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be, I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and last." Revelation 22: 12-13 KJV

I Wish for You...

Psalm 91 Prayer Ministry

I wish for you...
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart,
Gentle hugs when spirits sag,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Faith so that you can believe,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
And love to complete your life.
I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way....
His love is always with you
His promises are true,
You know He will see us through.
So when the road you're traveling on
Seems difficult at best
God will do the rest.

He Is!

A Note from Carol: My Mom sent this to me from her churches email prayer groups. I thought that I would pass it on. Its Awesome. God Bless

He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End!
He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and
The Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be...
Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him,
The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and
The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him,
The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and
The people couldn't hold Him!
Nero couldn't crush Him,
Hitler couldn't silence Him,
The New Age can't replace Him, and
Donahue can't explain Him away!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right,
His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and
His mind is on me.
He is my Redeemer,
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and
He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and
He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and
His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
The power of the powerful,
The ancient of days, the ruler of rulers,
The leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers, and
The sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come.
And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.
His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
Never forsake me,
Never mislead me,
Never forget me,
Never overlook me, and
Ever cancel my appointment in His appointment book!
When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!
He is everything for everybody, everywhere,
Every time, and every way.
He is God, He is faithful.
I am His, and He is mine!
My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side, and
That means all is well with my soul.
Everyday is a blessing for GOD Is!
