Just A Thought
By Staff Writer Sharon Barrett1 Corinthians 1:4 "
I always thank God for you because of his grace
given you in Christ Jesus."
Always giving thanks to God, absolutely we
should, and not just for our families. But also
for our friends, those who are special to us.
They are like making homemade bread. Friends add
a little flour to our lives, (the basis on which
to build a friendship on. We add a little salt
because we are all different, we add a little
sugar to spice up our lives, a little yeast to
make our friendships grow. Then we we put them
all together we have a friend for life. So we
should be thankful to God. And when it all comes
down to the bottom line it is only by the grace
of Christ that it all works.

Poems for Comfort

Come To Me
When your life seems to have more
waves than the stormiest of seas
God says, ' Come to Me '
When you feel like you fell off
the tallest mountain top, to never more rise
God says, ' Come to Me '
When you think in your life
you'll never again see the sun shine
God says, ' Come to Me '
God says, ' Come to Me '
believe in my mercy and love
and we will weather all things together
God says, ' Come to me.' then you shall see
after every storm the sun always shines
for every drop of rain a flower will grow
at the bottom of every mountain is a valley of green
God says, ' Come to Me '

THERE'S SOMEONE
When you got troubles
and you think no one cares
There's someone standing there
When you think you're alone
and you feel no love around
There's someone standing there
When you feel life is all darkness
and the light will never shine again
there's someone standing there
When your in need of a friend
and you think no one wants to listen
There's someone standing there
When you say I'm tired
and I can't go on
There's someone standing there
The someone is the Lord Jesus Christ
just call His name and no matter your struggle
He can and will ease your troubles
There's someone standing there

ADVICE TO A FRIEND
Life is too short to wonder
about what might have been.
If what, where or even who,
you know what you must do.
Put it all in God's capable hands,
No ifs, whats or what has happened when.
We all live too fast and hard, =
with no thoughts of our tomorrows.
We forget to talk to the Boss,
unfortunately to our great loss.
But He is always there anyway,
to help ease our lifelong sorrows.
Listen my friend to this advice, =
on where to go and what to do.
Have a talk with our Lord.
He is our strength, shield and sword, =
easing all our tears and fears.
Then don't forget to say Thank - You..

All
the If's and all the Wrong's
By Staff
Writer Sharon Barrett
For all the tomorrow's
that have come and gone,
hollow dreams cast along the side.
All the ifs and diffidently all the wrongs,
whisper deep in the heart that has lied.
Hidden so deep never to be revealed,
casting shadows on all your tomorrow's.
Gently, silently in our mind concealed
to be brought out in thought causing sorrows.
Crying out in agony of the heart and mind,
memories of all the ifs and the wrongs.
No where to hide, you they always find,
peace of mind is all I long .
With all the ifs and all the wrongs,
I know there is no way to change what has come to pass.
That is why my heart sings out this song,
words in poetry, written on paper that will always last.
