Money
for Your Church?

BELLFLOWER, CA (June 9, 1999) -- Not many people realize
that they may have money which is legally theirs, waiting
to be collected from the U.S. Government. This is what
was discovered by one web surfer, Debbie Loveall, who
located $484 for her boss, $340 for two of her co-workers
and $36,000 for her cousin. Then she found $68,000 that
belonged to a major U.S. bank. But when she found
churches that actually had thousands of dollars sitting
doing nothing, she began to become really excited! Mrs.
Loveall said, "There are over 350,000 churches in
the United States. This could add up to hundreds of
millions of dollars that could be used for the extension
of the Kingdom of God."
Mrs. Loveall suggested linking the U.S. Government web
site to the ministry of author and Bible teacher Ray
Comfort. "His teaching transformed the life of
myself and my husband Jerry, and I want every Christian
to hear it!"
The "Hell's Best Kept Secret" teaching has been
commended by Focus on the Family, David Wilkerson,
Leonard Ravenhill, Dave Hunt, and many other respected
Christian leaders. Bill Gothard screened it to 30,000
pastors in 1992. Ray Comfort says that it holds the key
to turning this nation back to God.
To see if you or your church has money owed to it, check
and receive a free tape (no matter what the outcome). The
ministry has generously offered this to Christians within
the U.S. as an encouragement to prompt people to find out
if they have money coming to their church, and to expose
as many people as possible to "Hell's Best Kept
Secret". Write to: Living Waters Publications, P.O.

PAGET'S
DISEASE OF THE NIPPLE Submitted by Viola Gilbert who received it
from a caring friend
Is a
rare form of breast cancer, and is on the outside of the
breast, on the nipple and areola. It appears as a rash
which later became a lesion with a crusty outer edge. I
would not have ever suspected it to be breast cancer but
it was. My nipple never seems any different to me, but
the rash bothered me so I went to my doctor's office for
that. Sometimes it itched and was sore but other than
that it didn't really bother me. It was just ugly and a
nuisance and could not clear it up with all the creams
that had been given by the doctor and dermatologist for
the dermatitis on my eyes I had just prior to this
outbreak. I therefore went in to doctor's office for
assistance. They seemed a little concerned but did not
warn me it could be cancerous.
Now I suspect there are not many women out there who know
a lesion or rash on the nipple or areola can be breast
cancer. What are the symptoms? Mine started out as a
single red pimple on the areola.
One of the biggest problems with Paget's disease of the
nipple is that the symptoms appear to be harmless. It is
frequently thought to be a skin inflammation or
infections, leading to unfortunate delays in detection
and care.
The symptoms include: 1. A persistent redness, oozing, and crusting of
your nipple causing it to itch and burn. (As I stated,
mine did not itch much or burn, and no oozing that I was
aware of, but it did have a crust along the outer edge on
one side.)
2. A sore on your nipple that will not heal. (Mine was on
the areola area with a whiteish, thick-looking area in
center of the nipple.)
3. Usually only one nipple is affected.
How is it diagnosed? Your doctor will do a physical exam and should
suggest having a mammogram of both breasts done
immediately. Even though the redness, oozing and crusting
closely resemble dermatitis (inflammation of the skin),
your doctor should suspect cancer if the sore is only on
one breast. Your doctor should order a biopsy of your
sore to confirm what is going on. They will take a sample
of your breast tissue in that area to test for cancer. If
the cancer is only in the nipple and not in the breast,
your doctor may recommend just removing the nipple and
surrounding tissue or suggest radiation treatments. Had
my doctor caught mine right away, instead of flaking it
off as dermatitis, perhaps they could have saved my
breast and it wouldn't have gone to my lymph nodes.
This message should be taken seriously and passed on to
as many of your friends as possible. It could save
someone's life.
My breast cancer has spread and metastasized to my bones,
this after receiving mega doses of chemotherapy, 28
treatments of radiation and taking tamaxofin. If this had
been diagnosed in the beginning as breast cancer and
treated right away perhaps it would not have spread.
I did try to spread the word through Rosie O'Donnell show
on breast cancer awareness but it failed to trigger
importance enough to be announced on her show last year.
This is sad as woman are not aware of Paget's disease.
If by passing this around on the e-mail we can make
others aware of it and it's potential danger, we are
helping women everywhere. Please highlight this article,
copy it and paste into an e-mail to everyone you know.
Thanks for taking the time to share.
Easy
Y2K Fix That Really Works! Submitted by Pattie Reitz
For
those of you running Windows, this is a fix for a small
Y2K problem. After running this quick little test, much
to my surprise, I learned that my computer would have
failed on 01-01-2000, due to a computer clock glitch.
Fortunately, a quick fix is provided, should your
computer fail the test.
TEST:
Double click on "My Computer."
Double click on "Control Panel."
Double click on "Regional Settings" icon.
Click on the "Date" tab at the top of the page.
Where is says "Short Date Sample," look and see
if it shows a "two digit" year. Of course it
does. That's the default setting for Windows95, Windows98
and NT. This date RIGHT HERE is the date that feeds
application
software and WILL NOT roll over in the year 2000. It will
roll over to 00.
Click on the button across from "Short Date
Style" and select the option that shows mm/dd/yyyy.
(Be sure your selection has four "y's" showing,
not two.)
IMPORTANT: Click on "Apply" and then on
"OK" at the bottom.
Easy enough to fix, yet every single installation of
Windows worldwide is defaulted to fail Y2K rollover. How
many people know about it? How many people know to change
that? What will be the effect? Who knows? But this is another
example of the pervasiveness and systematic nature of the
problem.
Internet
Fellowship for Christian Women
I do
websites for several ministries and specialized Christian
groups. Many also have a group mailing list where members
can safely correspond with and support one another. These
work quite well, for we all need fellowship with others,
especially Christians. Sometimes it's easier to share a
problem with someone over the internet than it might be
in person, plus we can gain insight from several members
of the group.
I
recently received the following e-mail:
Hi!
My name is Carol. I am looking for some good
Christian fellowship with other women. The church I
belong to currently doesn't have much fellowship just
for women. If you can help me out in any way I would
really appreciate. I am 39 years old, married, and have
three children. Right now I am off work for the
summer. I am a teachers assistant in a middle school
in the town where I live.We also have a disabled
person who lives in our home as a second income. This
can be very trying some days.
Thank-you very much and may GOD BLESS YOU
I
replied and asked Carol if she might be interested in
helping create such a group. Here is her response:
iona,
Thanks for answering my e-mail. I wouldn't know the
first thing about starting a fellowship group but I
would be open to the idea. I really believe that
there are women out there that are needing Christian
fellowship through the internet. I have heard that
there is a couple of groups out there but I don't
know anything about them. I believe that if there is
any interest in a group like this maybe together we
could create something.
Please keep me informed on what you find out. God
Bless You!! Carol
Because
Carol cared and because the need is real, I am creating a
new section called Handmaidens Christian
Women's Fellowship. It has it's own
page with a signup link and some guidelines... that's
where you readers come in. Help define the guidelines by
sending suggestions to fellowship@ionanet.com
You can
join right now, but I want to have guidelines up within a
few days, so please write quickly!
Join the Fellowship (this will
send a blank e-mail to the list server)
