Just A
Thought
By Staff Writer Sharon Barrett
With all the laws and rules and
regulations we have to deal with, city
ordinances and property lines, I was
thinking that is a lot to handle. You
move from one town to another and the
rules are changed. You move from one
country to another, the laws are
different. You can not cross this border
or that border without permission. It is
so wonderful that we as God's children do
not have all these rules, regulations,
and laws to live by. We have just two -
that is to love God above all else and to
love our neighbor as ourselves. A
wonderful law set down by Jesus Christ.

"THE BIBLE SITE"
ENABLES CHRISTIANS TO SEND A
SCRIPTURE PORTION TO A PERSECUTED BELIEVER -- AT NO COST
TO THEMSELVES
Open Doors
launches a unique way to supply God's Word to those who
need it most
By Dan Wooding
SANTA ANA, CA (July 20,
2000) - Open Doors, the ministry that was begun 45 years
ago by Brother Andrew, the
Dutch-born
author of "God's Smuggler," has launched "The
Bible Site," which enables Christians to supply
God's Word at no cost to those who need it most -- with
the click of a button.
"Right now, 200 million Christians are living under
restriction and persecution for their faith in Jesus
Christ," explained Mike Yoder, Communications
Director for Open Doors, based in Santa Ana, California.
"Most do not even have their own copy of the Bible.
This new Web site is a unique way that people can provide
our suffering brothers and sisters with a portion of
God's Word at no cost to themselves. "By visiting
'The Bible Site' on the Internet, people can click a
button that will send a scripture portion to a persecuted
Christian, funded completely by sponsors of the site.
"The success of this exciting campaign depends upon
as many Christians as possible visiting 'The Bible Site'
and encouraging others to do the same. As more people
visit and make free donations, awareness will be raised
about Christian persecution and thousands of Bibles will
be provided to our suffering brothers and sisters
worldwide."
The web address for this new site that will put Bibles
into the hands of those who really need them is
