National Christian Events
Calendar
For some time now it has been
on my heart to provide a centralized national
database of Christian events, perhaps worldwide
some day. My vision is for this database to
assist The Body in planning events, finding
current events while traveling, and to assist in
some small way to bring the body together.
Simply put, I have put a national public calendar
on the internet for The Body to view, plan, and
submit events. Some of the
features on this calendar include: (please go to
the bottom for instructions)
1. Organized by State
2. Each state has it's own category (Outreach,
Ministry, Worship, etc)
3. You may add your own category if it does not
exist
4. Searchable for specific text making it really
easy to find a specific event
5. Anyone may submit an event to the calendar
(ALL events have to be approved before the public
may view it)
6. Anyone may view all events that have been
approved
7. Event options allow you to email the event to
yourself in text or html format
8. Event options allow you to setup an email
reminder to yourself up to 7 days in advance of
the event
9. You may email copies of any event via the
calendar to one or multiple email address
10. No logon is required
11. Printable format available with a click of a
button
12. Event options provide a downloadable
vCalendar file for your
personal remote calendar or scheduling programs
Features to come:
1. Your organization will be able to have a
private calendar, only manageable and viewable by
your organization
2. Emailing lists for your members
3. Your suggestions may be added to this list
Heavenly Fruits National Calendar Event
Submission Instructions:
1. Go to http://river.heavenlyfruits.org
2. Chose the state in which you wish to submit
the event for, and click on the "select
state" tab
3. Now you will have that current state calendar
on your screen.
4. Please click on "Submit an event"
5. Fill in the fields accordingly. If you have a
repeating event, please indicate that by
submitting the end date as a different date.
6. If you have special instructions, please send
email to stuart@heavenlyfruits.org after you have submitted the event
7. Make sure that you select a category for the
type of event it is. If the category does not
exist, please type a new one in. We will review
the category, and add it when we approve the
event
8. Add your www address if you have one
9. Please make sure you put your email address in
the contact section
10. Click on the "Save" button
We will be notified of your event submission so
that we can review it. As soon as it is approved,
it will automatically be posted to the calendar.
We hope that you find this
calendar useful, and that it gets loaded upwith
1000's of events each month!
